The root cause of weighing error of concrete batching plants

First, we need to find a source of uncertainty, namely the load cell. The load cell is an electrical component through which we can measure the weight of the raw materials we need.

Reasons for common failures of sensors in concrete plants and their treatment

1. The unweighed reading of the concrete batching plants

This kind of fault is generally more common, and the weighing value is zero.

Main reasons and treatment methods:

A.Load cell damage: When there are raw materials on the load cell, detect the voltage value of the load cell output signal line. If the two values are the same, the sensor has been damaged, and if there is a significant difference between the two values, the sensor is working normally.

B. There is a short circuit on the line: If the load cell is not damaged, the following line can be checked for broken roads by observing whether the line is broken or cut along the induction line

C. Signal transmitter failure: After eliminating the above two reasons, we check the signal transmitter, and the detection method is basically the same as that of the load cell. To detect whether the output signal has a voltage signal, when the weight changes, whether its value changes.

D.The junction box is not in good contact: This is mainly due to the fact that the wire ends are not firmly connected during the wiring.

2. The weighing value of the batching plants fluctuates up and down.

This phenomenon is manifested in the fluctuation of the weight value of a certain weight, which exceeds the normal error range.

Main reasons and treatment methods:

A. large mechanical vibration near the load cell.

If there is a large mechanical vibration in the hopper near the load cell mounting seat, it will cause the deformation of the sensor to change continuously, so the measured weight value will fluctuate up and down.

B. There is a high-frequency signal transmitter near the concrete batching plants. (Including mobile signal towers and ultra-high voltage substations)

For the signal interference problem near the batching plants, a reasonable site should be selected before the start of the construction, away from these interference sources.

Maintenance of the weighing system of concrete plants

The load cell is a precision electronic component, which needs to be kept away from dust, water and other substances, and the load cell must be kept clean. Therefore, some protective covers can be added to the load cell. At the same time, the weighing system needs to be re-calibrated at regular intervals.
